Snoop Dogg’s collaboration with crypto casino Roobet yields first new game

One of the world’s fastest growing crypto casino sites has revealed its first new game after confirming music superstar Snoop Dogg being appointed as its chief ganjaroo officer (CGO).

Roobet and its parent company Raw Entertainment recently snapped up Snoop Dogg – whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr. – with the star saying he would be aiming to “blaze a trail for the future of online entertainment” with the crypto casino.

Their partnership has now resulted in the launch of Snoop’s HotBox, which builds on the success of Roobet’s original game Crash and is said to be the first celebrity casino game. VIPs, media partners and key Roobet members were invited to a special launch of the crypto casino game, which is expected to be available to play on all platforms.

Sound effects featuring Snoop Dogg are included in the game along with sharp graphics and hand-illustrated game features. In a statement released to mark the launch of Snoop’s HotBox, the crypto casino’s co-founder Matt Duea said it would be “slowly Snoopifying” its game library.

Of the link between Roobet and Snoop Dogg – whose hits included What’s My Name? and Gin and Juice – Duea added: “We’re here to push the boundaries of what’s possible to provide the best entertainment for the next generation of gamers, and being the first to do things like this proves we’re working hard and lifting heavy against a sea of check-writers who make set-and-forget marketing… HotBox brings Snoop’s humour to life on Roobet 24/7, and it’s full of fun surprises for our players. We’re honoured to be the ones who made it happen.”

Roobet – which also has an online sportsbook along with its crypto casino operation that has over 3,000 different games for customers to play – was first launched back in 2019. As part of  the partnership with Snoop, the crypto casino made available a $100,000 cash prize raffle.

Commenting on the release of the game that bears his name, Roobet’s CGO Snoop added: “I enjoyed the whole process of Snoopifying Crash and makin’ it the Snoop Dogg way. So let’s roll, keep it positive and have some fun…Roobet took amazing care of me even before they realised who I was, bringing the ultimate player experience, and I been sayin’ Roooooo ever since. We share the love of doing new things, and we care about our fans – so we’re gonna change the game and do it better than it’s ever been done.”
