Stake secures expanded partnership with UFC
Leading crypto casino Stake has confirmed its latest sports sponsorship deal, adding a fresh partnership with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) to its rapidly expanding roster.
The site, which also provides sports betting as well as casino games such as slots, is already the shirt sponsor of Premier League team Everton. Stake has also teamed up with UFC’s Israel Adesanya in the past, with the fighter having become the first ever Stake brand ambassador.
Stake – which also has the Canadian rap star Drake as a brand ambassador – is an official sponsor partner in Asia for the UFC, with athletes expected to feature in exclusive promotions and VIP experiences for the crypto casino site, as well as producing social and digital content.
Vice president of global partnerships for UFC Nick Smith said in a statement: “We’re thrilled to partner with an exciting and emerging brand like Stake to offer exclusive digital and social content to our fans, as well as an innovative gaming experience. UFC prides itself on being innovators, and Stake is a unique way for fans to experience the action and excitement of UFC.”
Stake was already UFC’s maiden official betting partner in Latin America, a deal that was later expanded in order to include Brazil for the first time.
A spokesperson from Stake added: “All of us at Stake are massive UFC enthusiasts. We are excited to collaborate with such a dominant brand to deliver a one-of-a-kind betting experience and accelerate our global expansion.”
UFC runs over 40 live events a year, with its 180 million social media followers and more than 625 million fans likely to expand the reach of Stake over the coming weeks and months.
Stake has been busy snapping up more sports sponsorships in recent weeks, increasing the public profile of one of the world’s largest crypto casinos and sports betting sites.
Earlier in the year, it was confirmed that Stake has been named as the official betting partner of the Davis Cup and a partner of sister competition the Billie Jean King Cup by Gainbridge.
Additionally, Stake’s name will brand a Formula One team for the 2024 and 2025 seasons, with Alfa Romeo being relaunched as Stake F1 Team in time for the start of the coming campaign.
However, a proposal to sponsor Premier League giants Chelsea last year had to be cancelled as a result of supporter protests against the mooted shirt deal.
