New sports betting and casino platform launches with own crypto
A brand new sports betting and online casino platform with its own type of cryptocurrency has been launched in time for football fans to place wagers on the World Cup in Qatar.
BetU, which describes itself as a next generation online betting site, has put its own cryptocurrency, $BETU, at the heart of the platform which was released this month.
VIP benefits are up for grabs to those who hold the $BETU tokens, which can be used to place both sports bets and to also play a variety of online casino games offered on the BetU site.

BetU has brought on board industry experience from some of the online betting world’s biggest and most respected names. Esports trading at BetU is provided by the Oddin.gg organisation, SoftSwiss is on board for casino aggregation and Betradar powers the sportsbooks.
The launch of the new crypto sports betting and online casino site comes after $BETU token holders were given the chance to try out a free-to-play sports and esports prediction game called EarnU. It also follows in the footsteps of the launch of BetU Verse, which is a licensed metaverse casino, resort and entertainment complex that was recently released to users.
P2P betting and a full affiliate programme are among the features coming soon to BetU, which will be aiming to be ranked among the top crypto casinos and online sportsbooks around. While BetU is already accessible in various markets, there are many territories it is not yet available.
