Crypto casino makes further moves into esports betting

One of the biggest crypto casino sites in the world has signed a deal with an odds feed service in a further indication of its new focus on esports betting.

Stake.com has become known as one of the premier sites for crypto gambling, offering a huge array of online slots, plus other games and an online sports betting site.

Esports betting has boomed in the past few years with Stake.com one of the many crypto casino sites to have branched out into this area in a bid to capture a slice of the pie. And Stake.com has continued to move into the esports arena with the confirmation that the crypto casino has now teamed up with Oddin.gg, an end-to-end esports betting ecosystem.

Dominic Hardcastle, director of operations at Stake.com, said in a statement that esports betting is currently expanding at an “exponential” rate, explaining why the crypto casino is aiming for growth in this sphere. He added: “We knew we had to significantly enhance our existing offering to meet the market demand.

“The selection of Oddin.gg was straightforward, given their expertise and perfect range of products for our purposes. Our new partnership with Oddin.gg will help us double down on our investment in esports crypto betting. We are looking forward to getting the new offerings ready and available for our players soon.”

Oddin.gg provides services such as widgets, an esports odds feed, risk management and iFrame solution to clients such as crypto casinos seeking to make moves into esports betting. It also offers 24/7 content and marketing services, with Betway – sponsors of Premier League football club West Ham United – among the headline clients it has signed up to date.

Co-founder and managing director of partnerships at Oddin.gg Marek Suchar said that the organization is excited to partner with Stake.com, which he described in a statement as a “leading crypto casino and sportsbook”. He added: “We share the same interest in continuously enhancing the esports betting experience and user engagement for players all around the world. With Stake, the stakes are even higher than before.”

Stake.com has been busy sealing a range of sports partnerships in recent weeks, signaling a new direction for the crypto casino, which sponsors Everton in the Premier League.

The site announced a sponsorship of kickboxing star and world champion Tenshin Nasukawa for his first boxing bout against the Japanese bantamweight Yuki Yonaha, as well as becoming the exclusive betting partner of the Volleyball Nations League 2023.
