Crypto casino and sportsbook taps Lehmann as brand ambassador
One of the most famous women footballers on the planet has become a brand ambassador for a casino and sports betting site where cryptocurrency can be used to make deposits.
Alisha Lehmann, who has 17 million followers on social networking site Instagram, is among the sport’s highest-profile stars and has now signed a partnership deal with Boomerang.
Lehmann described working with Boomerang as an “exciting opportunity because they are a sports-oriented brand that embodies energy, fun and innovation”. She added: “Boomerang’s approach to combining sports, gaming and entertainment resonates deeply with me, and I’ll be eager to contribute to delivering positive and exhilarating experiences for customers.”
The 25-year-old, who plays international football for Switzerland, recently joined Italian side Juventus from Women’s Super League side Aston Villa, making the same move as her partner, the Brazil midfielder Douglas Luiz, who has also swapped Birmingham for Turin this summer.
Major cryptocurrencies are accepted in the Boomerang cashier, with the site combining a range of casino games with sports betting in order to appeal to as wide an audience as possible.
Boomerang already has a partnership in place with Juventus’ fellow Italian club AC Milan – having recently become the team’s new official regional betting partner in Europe – and the company’s co-founder Ivan Kraynov explained the reasoning behind it choosing Lehmann.

In July we announced cooperation with the top European football team – AC Milan, now we are starting a partnership with one of the best women’s football players.
“Alisha’s commitment to excellence and her dynamic approach is a great fit for our brand’s vision of leading in sports and entertainment.”
Lehmann, who plays as a forward, also featured for West Ham and had a spell on loan with Everton during her time in England. The Swiss star and Douglas Luiz both joining Juventus from Aston Villa has been reported to be the first boyfriend-and-girlfriend transfer in football history.
Crypto betting site and casino Boomerang, meanwhile, was nominated for both Best Sportsbook Operator and Best Marketing Campaign in the SiGMA Europe Awards of 2023. The fast-growing company also took the Casino of the Year prize at the SiGMA BALKANS/CIS Awards last year.
