Brazil football star becomes crypto casino brand ambassador
A leading crypto casino has announced a Brazilian footballer as its latest brand ambassador.
David Luiz, who played for Arsenal and Chelsea in the Premier League and made 57 appearances for Brazil between the years 2010 and 2017, has been signed up by the BC.Game site, which announced a similar type of deal with the Argentine Football Association this year.
“I’m very happy to be partnering with BC.GAME and very excited for the collaboration coming soon,” said the 35-year-old central defender in a statement released by the crypto casino.
BC.Game has followed in the footsteps of many other major gambling sites by using brand ambassadors to boost its public profile. Back in September 2022, the site said it would be linking up with the Argentine Football Association with the deal signed before the World Cup.
With Lionel Messi and his team-mates going on to become world champions at Qatar 2022, it proved to be a smart move by the crypto casino. Now, BC.Game will be hoping its partnership with David Luiz, who now plays for Brazilian club Flamengo, will be just as fruitful as well.
BC.Game’s arrival into the Brazilian casino and sports betting scene has long been on the cards with South America a target market for a lot of the world’s top crypto casino sites as a result. The fact that Brazil is one of the most sports-mad countries in the world means crypto casinos and sportsbooks such as BC.Game see them as obvious places to launch their websites.
A spokesperson for BC.Game pointed out in a statement that Brazil has “dominated 2022 in regards to tech innovation and regulatory framework for cryptocurrencies and iGaming”. They added: “BC.Game has proudly contributed to this since the doors first opened. We are very pleased to be moving into 2023 with this announcement of our partnership with David Luiz.
“Our combined efforts will help to maintain this trend, with Brazil at the focal point for tech advancements and crypto mass adoption. The world is watching.”
Through their new partnership, David Luiz will be connecting with players and fans through the popular interactive gaming streaming platform Twitch.
BC.Game has enjoyed a terrific year, having been awarded the Crypto Casino of the Year prize from the 2022 Sigma Awards, followed by Argentina’s triumph at the World Cup. To celebrate, the crypto casino site is offering VIP players the chance to win up to $100,000 in a lotto draw.
