Floyd Mayweather has become the latest sporting star to team up with a crypto casino site.

The boxing great, widely regarded to be one of the finest fighters of all time, has become the new brand ambassador for Betify, which offers crypto betting and a range of casino games.

Mayweather revealed he is becoming a brand ambassador for Betify with a post on Instagram. As part of the fresh deal, a 24-hour $5000 giveaway was launched on the social media channel.

“Don’t miss out! Follow @betifyofficial to participate and get a chance to win,” he wrote. “Stay tuned for more updates, exclusive content, and surprises from @betifyofficial and the Money Team! Let’s go, champ!”

Games from studios such as Evolution Gaming, Betsoft, Microgaming and NetEnt are among those that are available to play at the crypto casino. Betify also bills itself as an esports betting specialist, with markets available for top esports such as CS:GO, Dota and League of Legends.

Betify is promoting the chance to sit alongside Mayweather in its virtual casino as he will be playing in various tournaments, while special giveaways are also being planned by the site. New customers who sign up for an account with the crypto casino can get a 100% welcome bonus on their first deposit, up to €500, while reel races are among the other special promotions here.

Roulette, blackjack and various other games are offered by Betify, including a range of slots. Players can earn various perks by making their way through the ranks of a VIP rewards club.

Mayweather is now building his reputation as a boxing promoter – alongside his work as a brand ambassador for crypto casino Betify – having snapped up one of America’s top teenage talents. Curmel Moton is being tipped as a future world champion with Mayweather recently claiming Moton would already be able to beat the WBA featherweight world champion Leigh Wood.

Mayweather fought between 1996 and 2017 and retired from professional boxing with an undefeated record after 50 bouts, claiming 15 major world championships at various weights.

At the end of his career, Mayweather earned a reported $300 million from a crossover fight with the UFC champion Conor McGregor, who is said to have earned $100 million from the event. Billed as The Biggest Fight in Combat Sports History, it was the second highest pay-per-view buy rate in history, just behind Mayweather’s blockbuster bout with Manny Pacquiao.
