Drake thrills fans with online roulette stream

Canadian rapper Drake has entertained his fans with a live stream where he gambled millions of dollars playing online roulette at a leading crypto casino site. Drake is a partner of crypto casino Stake, one of the biggest sites of its kind in the world, which recently announced it would be the shirt sponsor of English Premier League club Everton.

The live stream on the Twitch platform was watched by countless people – over 200,000 viewers were tuning in at one point – as Drake tried his luck at the online roulette wheel.

Drake – who is known for his smash hit songs such as Hotline Bling and One Dance – was up by $25 million at one point during the live stream but his lucky streak did not continue throughout. Big wins for $5.73 million and $3.87 million were among those Drake racked up at the wheel, with the rapper sometimes putting down as much as $1 million on each game of roulette.

Although Drake mentioned during the live stream that he might try his luck at online blackjack instead, he stuck with his initial pick of roulette during the stream at the Stake crypto casino. Some viewers were even fortunate enough to bag a prize over the course of the action as the God’s Plan hitmaker gave away cash in some lucky draws during the stream as well.

Drake has a long history with both streaming and online gambling, with hundreds of thousands of people once tuning in to watch him play the Fortnite battle royale game with streamer Ninja.

He recently won a $1 million wager that Israel Adesanya would win his UFC fight and fans regularly see Drake showing off his biggest bets on social media sites as well. Adesanya is also a brand ambassador for the Stake crypto casino, along with the likes of Sergio Aguero. Other successful bets placed by Drake this year include the Rams winning the Super Bowl, though he lost over $250,000 on the Spanish Grand Prix when his driver lost power in the race.

Due to the fact that Drake’s stream averaged nearly 100,000 viewers, it seems likely that his partnership with the Stake crypto casino site will see more streams run again in the future. Earlier in the year, Drake fans tuned in to see him win an incredible $17.9 million on a single spin in another live-streamed online gambling event.
