Crypto casino takes ‘giant step’ with launch of native $LBlock V2 token
The launch of a crypto casino’s own native $LBlock V2 token means that the site has taken a “giant step” into the future and to unleash its full potential, according to its community manager.
Lucky Block Casino is already established as one of the most exciting crypto casinos in the world, raising its profile exponentially since its launch last year thanks to teaming up with sports stars including boxers Florian Marku, Dillian Whyte and Savannah Marshall.
Now, the crypto casino has its own $LBlock V2 token to add to the list of cryptocurrency options for those who want to play games such as slots online. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin and Tether were already included on the list of crypto options offered at Lucky Block.
Other accepted coins at the crypto site include the likes of Cronos, Monero, Avalanche, Dai, Chainlink, Dash, Zcash, Solana, Polygon, USD Coin, Polkadot, Uniswap and Shiba Inu.
The crypto casino’s community manager Damian Jacobs believes the integration of the native $LBlock V2 token is a huge moment for the site, which also offers a crypto sports betting site covering everything from soccer, basketball, tennis and ice hockey to Formula 1 and cricket.
In a statement, Jacobs said: “Our goal is to bridge traditional iGaming operations into cryptocurrency and Web 3.0 – this move supports that growth path and cements our dominant position as the builders of a truly revolutionary gaming product.
“We have much more planned, with the $LBLOCK integration just the tip of the iceberg. We are looking at additional ways to reward users, incentivize $LBLOCK usage in the casino and sportsbook, as well as other plans to fully unleash our platform’s Web 3.0 potential.”
Lucky Block’s original V1 token will now be subject to a a bridge in order to allow the site to transfer from the BEP-20 Binance Smart Chain to the Ethereum blockchain, which is the platform on which the new native $LBlock V2 token operates.
Following the change, the V1 token will not be supported as a result of a lack of utility, but the date on which the update will be pushed through has been delayed from April 18th to give the remaining holders more chance to prepare.
A loyalty program for casino and sportsbook users at Lucky Block is also on the way and the crypto casino site already provides 24/7 support on email and through a live chat facility.
